Fraudsters are using fake investment platforms, remote access scams, and QR codes to steal your money. Learn how to protect yourself before it’s too late.
Protect yourself from fraud:
- A "friend" you met online is still a stranger—don’t take financial advice from them.
- Never let someone remotely access your computer or phone to “help” set up a crypto account.
- Once you send cryptocurrency, it cannot be reversed or recovered—there’s no bank to help.
- Be cautious when scanning QR codes; fraudsters use them to redirect funds or install malware on your device.
