Homicide – Arrest: C23-222731

The Winnipeg Police Service previously asked for the public’s assistance locating two outstanding suspects wanted for the murder of 46-year-old Damion Wayne SKRUMEDA. SKRUMEDA was fatally shot on September 13, 2023, in the 600 block of Mulvey Avenue. Arrest warrants were issued for suspects Randy FLETT and Jerrin MACINTYRE, who remained at large.

Update:

On October 2, 2023, at approximately 12:00 a.m., a Traffic Division member observed a confirmed stolen vehicle driving while patrolling in the area of Princess Street/Pacific Avenue.

As police neared, the vehicle pulled over, the driver exited and began to flee. The officer took him into custody in relation to the stolen vehicle and subsequently identified the suspect as Randy Blake FLETT, 25, who had an outstanding warrant for Second Degree Murder.

The accused was turned over to the Homicide Unit, and investigators continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating the outstanding suspect:

Jerrin MACINTYRE, 28, of Winnipeg. He is described as 5’9” tall and approximately  135 lbs.

MACINTYRE is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
