Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Ross Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 9:35 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of a fire in two-storey house in the 500 block of Ross Avenue. An engine and crew were driving by when they noticed smoke coming from the house.

Firefighters attacked the fire from inside the building, declaring it under control at 10:27 a.m. No injuries were reported.

WFPS responded to a fire at this location on April 8, 2023.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
