What is RSS?

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a way to distribute and receive web news content to your device through a newsreader (a kind of news browser). The RSS links on the City of Winnipeg website allow you to receive up-to-date announcements from the City of Winnipeg to your device.

When a news item arrives, you will receive a headline and brief summary of the news item. The headline will be a hyperlink to the full news release on
