Winnipeg, MB – The City of Winnipeg's Annual Snow Route Parking Ban has been lifted effective 7:01 a.m., today, Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

The ban prohibited parking between the hours of 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. on all designated snow routes.

No other winter parking bans are in place at this time.

Using the public’s Smart Cities Challenge idea submissions, panelists will discuss how the ideas fit into their vision for Winnipeg. Breakout sessions will follow the panel discussion to give the public an opportunity to provide their feedback on the smart city ideas. Winnipeg, MB – On February 23, MNP LLP will conduct the February 2018 Taxi License Lottery on behalf of the City of Winnipeg. The first 60 randomly drawn lottery applicants will be given the opportunity to apply for a taxi license. All other lottery applicants will be drawn to form a waiting list that will be used, should the any of the first 60 applicants not fulfill the requirements for a taxi license within 60 days (by April 30, 2018). There were 3,200 applications for the lottery.
