Winnipeg, MB – The City of Winnipeg is now participating in the iCemetery app, a mobile app utilized by municipalities across Canada, which provides members of the public with an easy-to-use search tool for burial records at cemeteries. Transcona Cemetery is the first City of Winnipeg municipal cemetery available on the iCemetery app. St. Vital Cemetery data will be available in late summer 2018, with data for the Brookside Cemetery scheduled to be input at a later date.

(Standing Water Action Team). Students were presented with Winnipeg’s second edition of an action oriented educational comic book that examines the mosquito’s life cycle, and explains what action is required if you want to become an agent of S.W.A.T. and reduce mosquitoes in your neighborhood.
