Joint First Responders Scenario Training Planned
Winnipeg, MB – On Sunday, September 16, members of the Winnipeg Police Service and the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service will conduct a live training exercise inside the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. As such, citizens will notice a congregation of emergency vehicles in the general area.
The training is important as it allows first responders from all agencies to work together in a relevant public space to coordinate a response in the event emergency services are needed quickly. It allows responders to practice skills, identify gaps and build relationships.
