Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to two structure fires in one hour overnight

Winnipeg, MB – Last night, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to two overnight fires.

Osborne Street

At 3:19 a.m. at June 3, 2023, the WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a commercial area in the 100 block of Osborne Street.

At the scene, crews saw smoke and flames. Firefighters attacked the fire, declaring it under control by 6 a.m.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.

Flora Avenue

At 3:55 a.m., the WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 600 block of Flora Avenue.

At the scene, crews saw smoke and flames. Firefighters attacked the fire from the inside, declaring the fire under control at 5:55 a.m.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
