Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Albert Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 2:42 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a four-storey hotel in the 0-100 block of Albert Street. At the scene, crews saw smoke coming from the building.

Firefighters attacked the fire from the inside, declaring the fire under control at 3:10 a.m. The building’s sprinkler system was activated. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
