Upcoming temporary road closures

Winnipeg, MB – The following two temporary road closures will take place in the coming days.

Southbound Carlton Street

Southbound Carlton Street, between Graham Avenue and St. Mary Avenue, will be closed on Friday, January 20 at 5 a.m. until Monday, January 23 at 8 p.m. for building construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the east sidewalk.

Northbound Shaftesbury Boulevard

Northbound Shaftesbury Boulevard, between West Taylor Boulevard and Grant Avenue, will be closed on Tuesday, January 24 at 9 a.m. until Friday, January 27 at 3 p.m., for Manitoba Hydro work.

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time use alternate routes to their destinations while the closures are in effect, and download the Waze app in advance and use it for real-time traffic updates.
