Winnipeg, MB – At 10:27 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-storey duplex in the 3000 block of Sinclair Street.
At the scene, firefighters saw flames and smoke coming from the home. Crews attacked the fire from the outside until it was safe to enter the home and attack from the inside. The fire was under control at 10:48 p.m.
Everyone got out before crews arrived. Firefighters entered the home next door to help two people evacuate as a precaution. Paramedics assessed one person and no transportation to hospital was required. Firefighters located one dog and reunited it with its owners.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The home sustained significant damage.
