Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Stella Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 9:42 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a vacant, single-storey house in the 500 block of Stella Avenue.

When crews arrived at the location, they found smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire from inside the house. The fire was declared under control at 9:55 p.m.

Crews searched the house and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
