Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Mountain Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 4:20 p.m. on August 10, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a three-storey apartment building in the 0 to 300 block of Mountain Avenue.

When crews arrived, they found light smoke in the building. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was quickly declared under control. The fire was contained to the suite where it originated.

There were no occupants in the suite at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
