Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Burrows Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 6:44 p.m. on August 8, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of a fire in a vacant bungalow in the 400 block of Burrows Avenue.

When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the house. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 6:59 p.m.

Crews completed a search of the structure and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
