Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Cree Crescent

Winnipeg, MB – At 7:17 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to an automatic alarm at a commercial building in the 100 block of Cree Crescent.

When crews arrived on-scene, they encountered smoke coming from a manufacturing area. The building’s fire suppression system was activated, which helped to confine the fire. Crews launched an offensive attack, extinguishing the fire. They declared the fire under control at 8:23 a.m..

Approximately 35 employees self-evacuated prior to crew arrival. No injuries were reported.
