Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on McDermot Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 3:27 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a four-storey commercial/industrial building in the 200 block of McDermot Avenue.

Once on-scene, they noticed fire coming from the structure. They launched an offensive attack, declaring the fire under control at 3:44 a.m.

Crews conducted a search of the building and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
