This plan has been developed with the help of a number of local partners and we look forward to collaborating with them on the implementation of these important measures.”

“We have developed a robust plan that we believe will greatly assist Council in helping our local economy recover from the impacts of the pandemic,” said Catherine Kloepfer, City of Winnipeg Chief Financial Officer. “I’d like to offer my thanks and appreciation to the community partners and members of Council that have provided their input during the development of this plan. We look forward to the upcoming committee discussions that will help formalize the final version of the plan.”

The COVID-19 Economic Response and Recovery Plan will be presented at the City’s five community committee meetings, scheduled from October 25 - November 1, 2021.
