Downtown streets closed to traffic for overnight film production next week

Separate closures scheduled on Main Street and Princess Street between Oct. 21-25

Winnipeg, MB – Three stretches of downtown streets will be closed to traffic at separate times next week to accommodate an overnight film production, scheduled over the course of Monday, October 21 to Friday, October 25.

Northbound and southbound Main Street between McDermot Avenue and William Avenue will be closed:

  • Monday, October 21, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday, October 22.
  • Tuesday, October 22, from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 23.

Southbound Princess Street from Henry Avenue to William Avenue will be closed:

  • Wednesday, October 23, from 7 p.m., until 7 a.m. Thursday, October 24.

Southbound Princess Street from Alexander Avenue to William Avenue will be closed:

  • Thursday, October 24, from 7 p.m., until 7 a.m. Friday, October 25.

Motorists should allow additional travel time to get to their destinations and use alternate routes.
