Good news, swimmers! Renovations at Bonivital Pool (1215 Archibald St.) are complete. Come on down and check out the facility.

“We are so excited to welcome everyone back to Bonivital Pool,” said Jennifer Sarna, Manager of Recreation Services.

The facility is back, better than ever, and we can’t wait for you to see it.

What’s new

When you enter the building, you’ll notice we upgraded the front lobby, making it more accessible for everyone to enjoy. We also added new universal and gendered changerooms.

In the main pool area, you will find a new accessible sauna (coming soon) and multi-purpose room.

Behind the scenes, we made several upgrades to make your visit more comfortable. This includes upgrades to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. We also upgraded the water heating, air handling, lighting, fire alarm, and power distribution.

“Thank you to everyone for your patience during the closure,” said Sarna.

We understand pool closures can be frustrating. This maintenance will ensure you and your family can enjoy the pool for many years to come.

Swimming lessons resume

Swimming lessons have resumed at Bonivital Pool. Keep an eye out for the Winter Leisure Guide Swimming brochure for new classes. It will be released in early December.

Plan your visit

You can find hours of operation, schedule and admission information, and more on the Bonivital Pool webpage.

Bonivital Pool was built in 1975. It closed for renovations on May 13, 2024, as many components reached the end of their expected life. We coordinate maintenance to ensure the fewest number of facilities possible are closed at any given time.
