Released: November 14, 2025 at 2:21 p.m.

Winnipeg, Manitoba – The City of Winnipeg is seeking feedback from residents on the preliminary 2026 update to the 2024-27 Multi-Year Balanced Budget.

The preliminary 2026 budget update was tabled at a special meeting of the Executive Policy Committee on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Residents can provide their feedback through an online survey available until November 30, 2025. The survey asks residents to share their thoughts and priorities on City services, spending, and taxes.

The results will help inform City Council as it finalizes the preliminary budget for 2026.

In addition, residents, community groups, associations, and other stakeholders who would like the opportunity to provide feedback on the preliminary budget in-person can register to appear as a delegation at the appropriate committee, or provide a written feedback submission for the public record.

Public meetings to hear delegations and consider changes to the preliminary budget begin on December 1, 2025. Council will consider the preliminary 2026 budget update on December 17, 2025.
