Today, a recruitment committee was formed as the City of Winnipeg begins its search for a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
“I would like to thank outgoing CFO, Catherine Kloepfer and wish her well on her upcoming retirement,” said Mayor Scott Gillingham. “Ms. Kloepfer has provided careful financial stewardship and has served the people of Winnipeg with skill and diligence. Her retirement will be a loss to our public service.”
A CFO hiring committee has been formed that consists of Councillors Jeff Browaty, Cindy Gilroy and John Orlikow. Michael Jack, Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Winnipeg, will also serve as part of the committee.
“The committee will begin the search for a new CFO as soon as possible so we can recruit someone with significant experience and the leadership to help manage the financial operations of the City,” added Gillingham.
Catherine Kloepfer retires on May 31, 2024.
