Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Sauve Crescent

Winnipeg, MB – At approximately 11:14 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022 the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-family bungalow in the 100 block of Sauve Crescent.

Once on-scene crews observed smoke and fire coming from the home. They launched an offensive attack, quickly declaring the fire under control at 11:36 a.m.

Occupants self-evacuated the home. Two patients were assessed on-scene by paramedics. One patient did not require further care. The other was transported to hospital in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
