Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to motor vehicle collision at Dugald Road and Bournais Drive

Winnipeg, MB – At 12:09 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to multiple reports of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Dugald Road and Bournais Drive involving a vehicle and a semi truck.

Multiple apparatus responded to the incident. Crews were required to use extrication equipment to remove one individual from a vehicle. A total of five patients were assessed and transported by paramedics on-scene:

  • One extricated patient was transported to hospital in unstable condition.
  • One patient was transported to hospital in unstable condition.
  • Three patients were transported to hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the incident will be investigated by Winnipeg Police Service.
