Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Aberdeen Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 2:32 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a vacant, two-storey house in the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

Upon arrival on scene, crews encountered smoke coming from the house. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control at 3:07 a.m.

Crews completed a search of the home and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
