Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Toronto Street

Winnipeg, MB – At 10:51 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a two-storey, single-family house in the 600 block of Toronto Street.

Once on-scene, crews encountered smoke and a small fire that was out on arrival.

One patient was treated on-scene by paramedics and taken to hospital in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported.

The building suffered minor damage to contents. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
