Winnipeg, MB – The City of Winnipeg has reached out to those who attended the Wednesday, January 19, 2022 meeting of the Executive Policy Committee (EPC) to make them aware that they have been potentially exposed to a positive COVID-19 case. This includes members of EPC, City staff, delegates, and members of the media.

Those who attended the meeting have been advised that they do not need to self-isolate, but need to monitor for symptoms and follow public health guidelines if they start experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. The Council Chambers have also undergone a thorough cleaning using an antistatic fogging system.

All attendees inside City Hall are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, to maintain a distance of at least six feet, and to wear a mask.

More information on the COVID-19 symptoms can be found through the Province of Manitoba website.
