Residential Parking Ban lifted

Released: January 2, 2022 at 9:51 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB – The Residential Parking Ban has been lifted; the City of Winnipeg thanks all Winnipeggers for their patience and cooperation. Residents are reminded that the Annual Snow Route Parking Ban remains in effect daily from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. until February 28, 2022.

If your residential street was not cleared as scheduled, you can now contact 311 to make a report, or submit a service request using the quick and convenient snow removal request form. Crews will be addressing missed streets and other outstanding snow clearing requirements in the coming days.

Residents are reminded to watch for temporary no parking signs that may be placed on their residential street. The temporary no parking signs are used to prohibit vehicles from parking on streets so snow removal equipment can perform their operations. Vehicles parked in violation of temporary no parking signs may be ticketed and towed.
