Winnipeggers invited to weigh in on draft road safety action plan

Released: September 8, 2021 at 1:48 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB – With road safety top-of-mind as kids throughout Winnipeg return to school, the City of Winnipeg is inviting residents to provide feedback on a long-term action plan to make local streets safer for all users.

The third and final phase of engagement on the Road Safety Strategic Action Plan project launches today, allowing Winnipeggers the chance hear about the City’s road safety vision and goal and share thoughts on a series of draft focus areas and actions that will shape the City’s efforts to prevent serious injury and death on our roads.

At this time, we are offering two ways to get involved:

Provide feedback online

Take our online survey.

Talk Road Safety

We selected four pop-up locations to engage with communities in higher needs areas that experience frequent collisions.
