Street and sidewalk closures planned on Provencher Boulevard this weekend for film production

Winnipeg, MB – Provencher Boulevard, from St. Joseph Street to Langevin Street, will have temporary and intermittent street and sidewalk closures in place this weekend for film production.

The expected closures are as follows:

  • Eastbound Provencher Boulevard, at the St. Joseph intersection, will be closed on an intermittent basis on Friday, August 6 from 6 p.m. until midnight.
  • The eastbound curb lane and middle lane on Provencher Boulevard, from St. Joseph Street to Langevin Street, will be closed on Saturday, August 7 at 6 a.m. until Sunday, August 8 at 6 p.m.
  • The westbound curb lane on Provencher Boulevard, from St. Joseph Street to Langevin Street, will be closed on Saturday, August 6 at 6 a.m. until Sunday, August 7 at 6 p.m.
  • There will be intermittent and staggered sidewalk closures on Provencher Boulevard throughout the weekend, with alternating sidewalk closures on the north sidewalk west of Rue Aulneau, and on the south sidewalk east of Rue Aulneau.

Motorists should use alternate routes and allow additional travel time to get to their destinations.
