Additional City of Winnipeg services set to resume

Winnipeg, MB – The City of Winnipeg is set to resume a number of services, in accordance with the Provincial Public Health Orders.

Council Building

Beginning July 28, the Council Building at City Hall will reopen to the public under limited circumstances. This includes appearing as delegation and meeting with elected officials by appointment. People wishing to appear remotely as delegations will be accommodated.

Physical distancing guidelines, enhanced cleaning protocols, and a maximum capacity of 25 visitors will be in place. A waiting area in the Mayor’s Foyer will be set up to accommodate the delegations in the event the Council Chambers is at capacity.

Wedding ceremonies

Outdoor City Hall wedding ceremonies will be resuming July 30 with the pre-pandemic attendance capacity of 25 people. Guests must respect physical distancing guidelines in place. To make a booking, see Marriage Services.
