Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Inkster Boulevard

Winnipeg, MB – At 5:53 p.m. on April 25, 2021, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of a fire in a two-storey house in the 0-100 block of Inkster Boulevard.

Upon arrival on scene crews encountered smoke and flames coming from the house and launched an offensive attack. The fire was declared under control at 6:20 p.m.

All occupants of the home safely self-evacuated prior to the arrival of crews. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time. One neighbouring house also sustained exposure damage.
