Outdoor aquatics facilities set to close for the season

Winnipeg, MB – The City of Winnipeg’s wading pools, outdoor pools, and spray pads are set to close in the coming days and weeks.

Wading pools
Most of the City’s wading pools will begin closing later this week; however, wading pools at the following locations will remain open until Monday, September 7, 2020:

  • Dakota Park
  • McKittrick Park
  • Vimy Ridge Memorial Park
  • Westdale

Outdoor pools
Non-heated outdoor pools close for the season on Friday, September 4, 2020, with the exception of the Freight House location which will remain open until Monday, September 7.

Outdoor heated pools will remain open until Monday, September 7, 2020.

Spray pads
