All Winnipeg Public Library branches offering holds pick-up service beginning August 4

Winnipeg, MB – Book returns are now being accepted at all Winnipeg Public Library locations (except Cornish, which is currently closed for construction) during operating hours. Operating hours for each branch are available online, and book return slots will not be open to customers outside of operating hours.

All remaining Winnipeg Public Library branches currently closed due to COVID-19 will begin offering holds pick-up service and telephone service beginning Tuesday, August 4.

Returned library materials will be quarantined for 72 hours before being returned to the library’s available collection. This practice is based on current research on the lifespan of COVID-19 on specific library materials. Due dates for currently outstanding materials will be staggered to avoid exceeding capacity at library branches.
