Released: June 17, 2020 at 10:41 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB – The TD Summer Reading Club returns this year, with summer reading activities available online for children up to age 12. Registration is available online at the TD Summer Reading Club website.

Children can participate anytime and anywhere at tdsummerreadingclub.ca. Participants explore bilingual content on the website including recommended reading lists, online workshops, weekly trivia, and a personal online notebook to track their reading.

Pre-readers can also join the Club by being read to by their parents, siblings, or caregivers. Reading aloud to pre-school children supports early literacy skill development and improves school readiness. The Club runs until Monday, August 31.

For details on the TD Summer Reading Club, programs, games and video explaining the program, as well as a downloadable reading log calendar, visit the TD Summer Reading Club Info Guide.

The 2020 Teen Summer Reading Challenge, for youth in grades 7-12, is running online until Monday, August 31, with the popular Challenge Card featuring fun activities suggested by members of our Youth Advisory Councils.
