City launches new online photo evidence viewer for parking tickets

Released: June 9, 2020 at 10:43 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB – The City of Winnipeg is launching a new online tool that allows vehicle owners to view the photo evidence associated with parking tickets from their computer or mobile device.

Previously, vehicle owners had to wait to correspond with a screening officer to view the evidence against them – a process that often led to delays in resolving appeals. With the online photo evidence viewer, vehicle owners will be able to view the evidence associated with their tickets before they decide to appeal.

The online photo evidence viewer is expected to reduce the number of vehicle owners contesting their tickets, and will significantly reduce the wait time for those who still decide to proceed with an appeal.

To access the online photo evidence viewer, visit: City of Winnipeg – Online Photo Evidence Viewer.
