Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Autumnwood Drive

Winnipeg, MB – At 5:02 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a four-storey, multi-family residence in the 1000 block of Autumnwood Drive.

When crews arrived on scene, they encountered smoke coming from the building. Crews launched an offensive attack, declaring the fire under control at 5:47 p.m.

Crews assisted one person from the building. One person was transported to hospital in unstable condition, and another was assessed on scene and did not require transport to hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and no damage estimates are available.
