Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Sutherland Avenue

Winnipeg, MB – At 4:28 p.m. on March 22, 2020, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a multi-family residence the 100 block of Sutherland Avenue.

When crews arrived on scene, they encountered smoke coming from the building. Crews launched an offensive attack, declaring the fire under control at 4:44 p.m. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damages appear to be contained to the suite involved.
