City of Winnipeg Spring/Summer 2020 Leisure Guide now available

Winnipeg, MB – The Spring/Summer 2020 Leisure Guide is now available at all civic indoor pools, libraries and leisure centres, and will be available Saturday at a number of retail locations. Winnipeg Free Press subscribers will receive a copy in today’s edition of the paper. View the Leisure Guide online by visiting winnipeg.ca.

In addition, the City’s Leisure Guide Skating brochure and Leisure Guide Swimming brochures are also available and can be viewed online by visiting winnipeg.ca.

Activity registration for all spring and summer activities begins Tuesday, March 17 at 8 a.m. for Winnipeg residents.

Registration for all programs at the St. James Civic Centre (2055 Ness Ave.) will not be available, as the facility is scheduled for building system upgrades. There will be an extended facility closure (in excess of one year) beginning April 1, 2020.

Registration for non-residents begins one week after registration for residents. For more information, please visit City of Winnipeg - Recreation Registration Non-Resident.

Registration will be ongoing after the start date.

If you are planning to register for Spring/Summer 2020 Leisure Guide activities, including skating and swimming, using leisureONLINE, please ensure that you are able to successfully log in to your online account BEFORE registration starts. In-person registration locations on March 17 only

The following Registration Centres will operate on March 17 only:

  • Central Registration Centre, Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex
    999 Sargent Ave. (8 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
  • South-East Registration Centre, Louis Riel Library
    1168 Dakota St. (8 a.m. – 11 a.m.)

Limited in-person registration on March 17 will also be accepted at all City indoor pools, with the exception of Bonivital, beginning at 8 a.m. Registration at Eldon Ross and Transcona Kinsmen Centennial pools will be available beginning at 1 p.m. Check in-person registration times at the facility of your choice by contacting 311 or visiting winnipeg.ca.

Queue numbers at all in-person locations (except Eldon Ross and Transcona Kinsmen Centennial pools) will be distributed starting at 7 a.m. on March 17.
