Winnipeg, MB – At 9:17 p.m. on November 5, 2019, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to reports of a fire in a single-family bungalow in the 800 block of Sherburn Street. Once on scene, crews learned that one person may be trapped inside the home. An offensive attack was immediately launched, while crews simultaneously searched the structure.
One individual was located inside the home. Paramedics transported the patient to hospital in critical condition. No other injuries were reported.
The fire was declared under control at 9:48 p.m. The cause is currently under investigation. No damage estimates are available at this time.
