Upcoming temporary closures at library and recreation facilities

Winnipeg, MB – Residents are advised that West Kildonan Library, Sergeant Tommy Prince Place and Elmwood Kildonans Pool will experience partial or full temporary closures in the coming weeks in order to accommodate minor renovation or maintenance work at the facilities.

The children’s area in the basement level of West Kildonan Library will be temporarily closed from Monday, August 26 to Monday, September 23 for minor renovations. The library will remain open during these renovations with full library service on the main floor. The children’s collections will not be available during this partial closure.

Both Sergeant Tommy Prince Place and Elmwood Kildonans Pool are scheduled for regular maintenance work and will be fully closed from September 3 to 28.
