Public invited to participate in Building Engagement

Released: May 16, 2019 at 2:58 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB – Building public engagement is part of building a stronger democracy, stronger communities, and a stronger Winnipeg.

The draft Engage Winnipeg Policy is one of the outcomes of the candid feedback received by the Office of Public Engagement over the past several years on how the City can improve engagement. The City is requesting the public’s input to continue to build a strong foundation for engagement and build engagement for all Winnipeggers.

The public is invited to attend a workshop and participate online to provide feedback that will be used to refine the draft public engagement policy before submission for Council review and the engagement framework that will follow policy approval.
