Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Training Scenario Planned

Released: May 6, 2019 at 7 a.m.

Winnipeg, MB – Today, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) will conduct a live HazMat training exercise inside the Interprovincial Co-op (IPCO) facility in the 900 block of Marion Street. As such, residents will notice a congregation of emergency vehicles in the general area.

The training is important as it allows first responders the opportunity to practice skills, identify gaps, and build relationships.

The WFPS would like to thank IPCO for allowing this important training exercise to take place in its facility.
