Released: April 21, 2019 at 3:37 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB – The Arlington Bridge between Dufferin Avenue and Logan Avenue is temporarily closed for bridge deck repairs.

The bridge was closed earlier this morning following reports of unsound conditions on the bridge deck. Crews were dispatched to inspect the bridge. Following their inspection, it was revealed that some asphalt on the roadway had become dislodged, requiring repairs. Those repairs are being undertaken today, and it is expected that the bridge will reopen to motor vehicle traffic later today.

Pedestrian access will be maintained while repairs are being undertaken.

Motorists should allow for additional travel time, and use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
