Voters Reminded to Bring Identification

Winnipeg, MB - A School Trustee By-Election for the School Divisions of River East Transcona (Ward 3), St. James-Assiniboia (King Edward-Deer Lodge Ward) and Louis Riel (Ward 2) will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

The City of Winnipeg requires all eligible voters to provide identification at the voting place.

Examples of acceptable documents to confirm your name and address include:

  • 1 piece of valid government issued photo id with name and current address (examples: Driver’s Licence, Enhanced Identification Card),

OR

  • 2 documents that together prove name and current address, such as:

RRSP (retirement savings plan) or mutual fund statement
Utility bill statement
Vehicle registration/Autopac Statement
