Around the clock collection underway to get recycling and garbage collection back on schedule

Released: January 2, 2014 at 1:27 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB - Recycling and garbage collection service is still an average of a half day behind schedule in some neighbourhoods due to the continued effect of the frigid temperatures on equipment.

To address the delays and to account for the snowfall forecast for tomorrow, collection service will be taking place 24 hours a day until Sunday, January 5, 2014.

The City asks residents for their patience and to please leave their carts out until collection is provided.
