Winnipeg 150 medals

We are no longer accepting nominations. Congratulations to the medal recipients.

In celebration of Winnipeg 150, we are awarding medals to 150 community-minded Winnipeggers who were nominated for their significant contribution to their neighbourhood or the city at large.

Each recipient will receive:

  • A specially designed Winnipeg 150 Medal in a box
  • A certificate signed by the Mayor
  • A tree planted in their name in a Winnipeg park

The Winnipeg 150 medals were created for Winnipeg City Council to present to residents of Winnipeg who have made a significant contribution to their neighbourhood or the city at large.

Recipients could not

  • Be a current employee of the City of Winnipeg
  • Have already received awards for community service or volunteerism from the City of Winnipeg
