Winnipeg 150 medal criteria

The Winnipeg 150 medals were created for Winnipeg City Council to present to residents of Winnipeg who have made a significant contribution to their neighbourhood or the city at large.

Recipients cannot

  • Be a current employee of the City of Winnipeg
  • Have already received awards for community service or volunteerism from the City of Winnipeg

Recipients will receive

  • A specially designed Winnipeg 150 Medal in a box
  • A certificate signed by the Mayor
  • A tree in their name planted in a park within the city of Winnipeg

A separate nomination form must be submitted for each intended recipient on or before July 15, 2024.
