Tee into summer with low-cost golf for youth

We’ve partnered with Golf Canada to offer the Youth on Course program

Through the Youth on Course program, youth can golf for $5 or less after 5 p.m. all summer long at our golf courses.

Consider this a deal fore the kids. If you know someone between 6 to 18 years old, they can golf for $5 or less at our courses after 5 p.m. every day of the week.

Through a partnership with Golf Canada, our golf courses are excited to be offering the Youth on Course program this summer. It’s another way we’re working to make the sport accessible to our residents.

“It’s a great opportunity for more youth to get involved with the wonderful game of golf,” said David Comaskey, Operations Coordinator for Golf Services. “The Youth on Course program helps to break down financial barriers for young people to play nine or 18 holes and we’re happy to be involved.”

On our courses, Youth on Course members can golf 18 holes for $5 or nine holes for $3.

Canoe Club, Crescent Drive, Kildonan Park, and Windsor Park golf courses have joined other Manitoba courses to partner with the program this summer. Youth on Course members can book a tee time using our online booking system at any of our four courses.

How Youth on Course works

Golf Canada members ages 6 to 18 receive a Youth on Course membership. This means they can play at any participating golf course locations for $5 or less during designated times. We’re offering it after 5 p.m. on our courses.

To get your game on at these special rates, you need to become a Golf Canada member for $64.95. This will give you access to the Youth on Course rates.

It’s the first time we’re involved with the program. We look forward to seeing more young people pick up the sport on our courses this summer!

Our City, Our Podcast

Our golf courses aren’t just a place to play. General Manager Ben Fey and Operations Coordinator Dave Comaskey chat about the history, sustainability initiatives, and year-round use of our courses on Our City, Our Podcast. This episode was released in August 2025.
