Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Public Library is pleased to announce that Raymond Lyttle has been selected as the newest Maker-in-Residence at the Library.
Raymond Lyttle is a Winnipeg-based multidisciplinary artist. He is skilled in ceramics, watercolour, ink, and oil paints. Raymond enjoys connecting community and creating visual representations of how a moment feels or is remembered.
“Watching how others interpret my prompts is incredibly rewarding as an artist and an educator. I'm excited to see what the library community will bring to the workshops and the creative space we will build together,” said Lyttle.
The Maker-in-Residence program operates out of the ideaMILL at Millennium Library and will run from March 3 – June 14, 2025. Throughout the program, the maker will offer weekly drop-in studio time to invite visitors into the creative process with activities to try new skills. The maker will also offer workshops in library branches to teach new skills, including programs for families and youth.
