Opportunities to participate available online or in-person

Winnipeg, MB - Committed to developing a pedestrian and cycling network that is safe and accessible for people of all ages and abilities, the City of Winnipeg is inviting Winnipeggers to provide their feedback on design options for the Downtown Bike Lane System and West Alexander Pedestrian and Cycling Corridor projects.

Public events will be held March 17 and 20, 2016 for the Downtown Bike Lane System, and on March 15 for the West Alexander Pedestrian and Cycling Corridor project. Residents will be able to view proposed design options, provide feedback and speak with the project team. These events are drop-by format (come and go). For convenience, the same material will be presented at all pop-up events for each project.

If residents are unable to attend the pop-up events, they are invited to visit the City’s interactive website where design options can be viewed, comments can be posted on the discussion board, and feedback can be provided through an online survey. The website can be found here: winnipeg.ca/walkbikeprojects
