It’s a construction zone at the Freight House Recreation Centre. Crews are busy with a drywall and painting renovation project to refresh the space.

The work at Freight House provides a valuable hands-on training opportunity while helping build a skilled construction workforce. The project is sponsored by the Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC).

Through our Sponsor Winnipeg program, we worked with MCSC to identify a location that would benefit from this opportunity.

The work started in early June and is expected to wrap up by the end of the month.
